Is Immerse run by Lawyers?

Yes and No. Immerse is made up of some of the smartest and savvy legal minds in the profession. Part of the Immerse crew are lawyers, but we’re also made up of kick-ass advisors, associates and graduates. It’s this diversity that separates us from the pack. You have access to experienced lawyers and advisors with decades worth of combined experience, as well as young graduates just starting out, who bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.

What separates Immerse from others?

That’s easy. We are a brand that just happens to know a bit about the law. We have a ‘start-up’ mentality and are constantly building and evolving our business. Our inspiration comes from you and what you do!

Is Immerse a law firm?

No. We offer custom and subscription services via the Immerse platform that cover legal issues, and which are handled by lawyers, but Immerse itself is not a law firm and does not offer legal advice, nor is it registered or regulated by the Law Society of New South Wales or any other law society or institute in any other State or Territory within Australia.

Immerse is powered by Lazarus Legal, so rest assured, if you require any of our services which require legal advice or direct involvement with a lawyer, including the drafting or review of tailored documents or signing up to one of our subscription packages, rest assured we’ve got you covered.

Is Immerse right for me?

If you are an Agency, Brand or Creator and you want to get your house in order (from a legal perspective) and be up to date on all things legal happening in your space without the time and costs involved with engaging a law firm, then Immerse is definitely right for you.

We have simplified the day-to-day, giving you power and control to ensure your rights and interests are protected. Our offerings are simple, yet effective and have been created by lawyers with you in mind.

Are there any hidden costs?

Hell no! What you see is what you get with Immerse. Once you have accepted our quote and paid the fees, that is what you will get charged. Nothing more, nothing less. Of course, if you do require any add-ons, additional trade mark classes, or other requirements, we will happily discuss with you payment options and agree on a fee that works for you.

What are the legal issues in Influencer Marketing?

The short answer is there are several legal issues influencers and brands face quite often than not. From misleading and deceptive advertising to the disclosure of sponsored ads, payments, agreements, and intellectual property, there’s a lot to know and be aware of. Immerse helps you have peace of mind by implementing a legally bulletproof system to collaborate and do business with influencers and content creators.

What’s the difference between an influencer and a creator?

An influencer is someone that can influence their audience in their own unique way. They have the ability to influence their followers to follow a brand or buy a product that they like because of their influence, fame or notoriety. A creator (especially a digital creator) on the other hand, creates content for digital properties, like YouTube or Instagram. The primary difference is that creators create content rather than influencing. Of course, there is overlap, but the difference lies in the intention – is it to create or influence, now that is the question? At Immerse, when we talk about “Creators” we are referring to both – anyone from Artists, Animators, Designers, Fashion Vloggers, Fitness Gurus, Illustrators, Make Up Artists, Photographers, Stylists and Videographers.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

While we generally aren’t fans of locking anyone in for lengthy periods of time, because our subscription model prices are so crazy, we do require a minimum commitment of 3 months before you can cancel. But don’t worry, we are so convinced that the money you spend will be so worth it (as out subscriptions are packed with benefits), that you won’t even think about wanting to cancel – but in the event that you do, you can always get in touch, and we will assess each matter on a case-by-case basis. No promises, but we pride ourselves on delivering customer service like no other!

What subscription to select?

We offer 3 different levels depending on where you are in the development of your business or career? If you are unsure what plan to select, feel free to hit us up with a free consultation, and we can help steer you in the right direction. Alternatively, if you select an option that is not right for you, we can help yo switch across to a plan that works for you.

How do I schedule a consultation with Immerse?

Do you offer in-person consultations?

Immerse is an online platform and does not offer face-to-face consultations at this stage. We do however offer telephone or video conference consultations. If you require a face-to-face, then we would be happy to arrange one with one of our trusted lawyers from Lazarus Legal.

If I purchase a Tailored Solution (i.e. Tailored Drafting or Tailored Reviews) is this service provided by Immerse?

If I purchase a Tailored Solution*, is this service provided by Immerse?

As this will require the input from an experienced lawyer or advisor, this service (* i.e. Tailored Drafting or Tailored Reviews) will be conducted through our partner law firm, Lazarus Legal. Although the service is still purchased through Immerse at the prices advertised on our website, rest assured you will be getting top notch advice at a fraction of the price! Happy days!

How do I complete a template?

Our templates have been created to make things super simple for you. Once you have purchased your desired template, you will be sent an email confirming your purchase with a link to download the document. Once downloaded, your template will come with an explanatory cover page making it easier than ever to complete your document and ensure it is signed before getting on with things. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to hit us up!

I need a template but Immerse doesn’t seem to have it?

As we are catering for a specific niche in the influencer marketing space, we, unfortunately, do not offer every legal document under the sun. After all, we want to stay focused on delivering what we do best. Of course, if you are an Agency, Brand or Creator looking for a particular document, email us at www.immerselegal.com to let us know what you need.

We also have our ‘Tailored Solution‘ option, or you can hit up our partner law firm, Lazarus Legal, and they should be able to assist. However, we will continue to add docs to the platform as we scale, so let us know what you need, and we will take your suggestions on board.

You talk about access to Immerse Resources, what’s included?

We wil constantly add a bunch of resources and marketing guides to the Immerse platform. Some of these will be chargeable, however, when you purchase any of our subscription models, you will get access to these and tier 2 and 3 subscription models will have first access to any new guides before they hit the platform all as part of the subscription fee. No more to pay! Win, win! But please note, the purchase of our subscriptions do not include our Precedents. Your subscription may include an agreed number of precedents, but if you want anything more, check out our Templates page.
